COUNT I - Respondent is charged with engaging in practices harmful or detrimental to the public by failing to obtain a license for his corporation before its acting as a real estate brokerage in the state of Iowa in violation of Iowa Code sections 543B.1, 543B.2, 543B.5(6), 543B.29(1)(d), 543B.34(1) (2018). COUNT II - Respondent is charged with engaging in a practice harmful or detrimental to the public by operating an unlicensed branch office in Iowa in violation of Iowa Code sections 543B.29(1)(d), 543B.31, 543B.34(1) (2018). See 193E Iowa Administrative Code sections 2.1, 7.1(3), 18.14(5)(s).
COUNT III - Respondent is charged with failing to comply with the trust account requirements by maintaining an Iowa real estate trust account that is not interest bearing in violation of Iowa Code sections 543B.29(1)(k), 543B.34(1), 543B.46 (2018).
